adidas FTAAA PACESETTERS 4 X 3 KM ROAD RELAY 2005
(Incorporating Inter-Universities / Colleges Road Relay 2005)

Date/Time: 19th June 2005 (Sunday) 8.00am

Venue: Majlis Sukan Negara Track Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

Competition: This competition is organized according to the MAAU Competition Rules.

Age Group: As at 31st December 2005.

Distance: Each runner has to run a distance of 2.9km

Route: The Start and Finish shall be inside the Stadium as per route map at the back page
of the form.

Changing zone: Each runner of the team will have to run 200m inside the Stadium before handling over the baton to the next runner. All exchanges of batons are inside the Stadiun within the Changing zone.

Special Universities/Colleges Event: There shall be 2 Special Categories for the Men & Women Universities/Colleges. This shall be held as an event within an event. Universities & Colleges teams whereby all 4 runners are from the same Universities/College as certified by an authorized signatory are eligible for this events as well as for the Men and Women categories. These two special events are organized to promote participation from the universities and colleges.

Prizes: First five (5) Teams in categories A to H will receive product vouchers from adidas and medals from Milo. The first three (3) teams from the Special Universities/Colleges Event (Men & Women) shall also receive prizes from the sponsors. In addition, a Challenge Trophy is awarded to the winner of the Varsity Categories.

Team: A team shall consist of four (4) runners. A list of runners according to the running order shall be submitted to the Meet Manager at the Reporting Station, one hour before the start of the race. Substitution is allowed at the time of submission of the list of runners but must attach the photocopy I/C of the substitute runner/s.

National Runners: Each team is limited to one current national runner to achieve a more balance playing field and in line with the objective of promoting team participation at club level. A current national runner is defined as a runner that has represented the country in athletics for the last 12 months prior to this event in the senior category only.

Baton: Every runner shall carry the baton in his/her hand throughout the race.

Entry Fees: For categories A to D - RM50 per team and for categories E to H - RM25 per team.

Vests & Photos: Each team shall be given 4 pieces of event running vests to be worn during the event. A team photograph shall be taken after reporting and before the race. A set of 4 photograph (4R size) shall be sent to the team at the malling address within one month of the event.

Numbers: Numbers are issued to the teams from FTAAA Office, Wisma OCM from 10.00am to 5.00pm on 17th & 18th June, 2005. Numbers will not be issued on the day of the event.

Maximum Number of Teams: 200 Teams on a first come first serve basis.

Closing Date: 1st June 2005 or 200 teams whichever come first
