Greetings from Grace Community Services!

Grace Community Services (GCS) is a charitable non-profit and non-governmental organization that offers various community services that include underprivileged children homes, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, homes for the homeless and destitute women, and unwed mothers, a HIV hospice, and home for the juvenile delinquents. At present, there are more than 2,000 people from various walks of lives that are benefiting from our services through numerous shelters, counseling sessions, and free medical consultation and treatment. In respond to the growing needs of mankind, services and activities would be easier with your support.

With this in mind, we are organising a FUNWALK event. Details are as follows:

Time: 7.30am - 10:30am

We are inviting PACM to join us in this event. The entry fee makes up the charity fund by itself.

Grace Home (est. 1980) and has taken care of no less than 600 women, most of whom were elderly widows and abused women. Food, shelter, clothing, and medical aid are provided in a loving and caring environment. A matron & volunteers help these women to adjust to a new life of grace and dignity.




Rumah K.I.D.S. (est. 1991) is a home to the orphans, a place of love for the abused and security for the abandoned children. The home encourages interaction and relationship building between house-parents and children. At present, there are more than 60 children staying in 5 separate houses with 12 staffs and volunteers to look after their welfare.




Grace Centre (est. 1988) aims to restore the lives of individuals, otherwise wrecked by drugs and alcohol. The residents undergo 1 ½ year rehabilitation program before assimilating them to society. To-date, more than 600 addicts and alcoholics have come into the centre and about 200 men have successfully completed the program and restored to their families and society.




Birthright (est. 1999) provides complete confidential help, temporary shelter, medical aid, legal advice, and counseling assistance for single unwed mothers in a loving and caring environment. The centre works in co-operation with the Welfare Department to arrange for adoption of babies with the consent of the expectant mothers, and counsel and prepare these women for motherhood should they decide to raise the children themselves. To-date, Birthright has successfully aided 60 unwed mothers.



Turning Point (est. 2003) opened its door to delinquent boys who have missed their purpose and focus in life, and have no determination to achieve something for themselves. The Home aims to restore lives of these teenage boys by imparting moral values, instilling discipline, encouraging and guiding them to discover their interest, assisting them to acquire living skills, and rebuilding their self-worth. Turning Point has given shelter to 25 boys since its inception.



Safehome aims to establish a friendly and supportive environment for individuals and families who are affected/infected by HIV/AIDS. The Home counsels, assists, and motivates people living with HIV/AIDS and their family members. It also provides information and training to the general public. Since its inception, the Home has taken care of 120 male inmates between ages of 21 to 50.



Grace Community Service Centre (est. 2002) seeks to be a blessing to the community. The centre provides guidance, support, and help to individuals from all walks of life. Apart from operating as a contact point and counseling office for our various homes, the centre also house a clinic for the poor. The aim of the clinic is to provide free medical services to the hardcore poor and street people of KL. The poor and needy are also fed weekly at the centre. At present, 280 packs of food and drinks are distributed.


Food Bank is set-up with the primary objective of providing basic food items to charitable homes, rehabilitation centers, feeding centers, poor individuals and families. It aims to channel the sources of food supply that would otherwise be wasted and discarded, to feed the needy and underprivileged people in our community. Food Bank is supported by suitable storage facilities, and transportation to handle frozen and chilled food.


New Horizon is a community project which establishes a support group for the senior citizens through its monthly activities such as social gatherings, excursions, and in-house activities. Many senior citizens who have joined us have enjoyed being with their circle of newfound friends. Since Sept 1998, this project has attracted more than 200 senior citizens every month.



GCS Music for Life was set up to provide for the underprivileged children and young people in our community to develop their musical talents and skills. The program aims to raise their quality of life by empowering them through music. The staff and volunteers continue to provide new avenues for these children to discover their self-worth and build their confidence, to enable them to live a productive and fulfilling life through musical expressions.




Grace Community Sport (est. 2005) organizes free football programs for children under 15 years old. It was conceptualized to keep the children healthy through sports, and to help them in character building, such as teamwork, discipline, and tolerance. Since its inception, more than 200 children have been benefitting from this program across 6 communities in Klang Valley.
