Call for volunteers for Energizer Night Run 2010

Pacesetters Athletic Club Malaysia would like to recruit volunteers to assist with the running of the Energizer Night Run 2010 at Cyberjaya on 27th March 2010.

Becoming a volunteer can be a very rewarding and satisfying experience for people of all ages and walks of life. Whether you are a student, working professionals or retirees and interested in running events or looking for ways to contribute, we can find a role to suit you.

We need volunteers in the areas of:
* Water Stations
* Road marshal
* Finishing area
* General Crew
* Race kit distribution on :
   - 21st March 2010 from11.00 am to 9.00 pm
   - 25th March 2010 from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm
   - 26th March 2010 from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm
   - 27th March 2010 from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon

Pacesetters 26th Annual Dinner and AGM - 20th Mar 2010
Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Our 26th AGM and Annual Dinner will be held in Parkroyal Hotel, Jalan Sultan Ismail, KL on 20th March 2010. This year the theme is "BACK TO 70's", so come dressed in your bell bottom or flared pants, mini or maxi skirts, platform soled shoes.....

Ticket is at RM55.00 per pax and will be on sale in December 2009. Please get your tickets from the Group leaders or Exco.

Pacesetters 9th Track Meet Results
Friday, February 5th, 2010

Male Athlete is Yee Wah Cheong, 62 who won the 400m in 1m 17sec and the 100m in a record 14.8 sec in the 60+ age group.

Female Athlete is Leong Wen Ting,13 who won the 400m in a record 1m 14 sec and the 100m in 14.9 sec in the Under 15 age group.

Champion Area Group is Bukit Aman with 384 points, second is Subang Jaya with 336 points and third is the "All other Groups", with a large representation from the Bukit Jalil "Cap Ayam" runners, with 170 points

New Balance Pacesetters 30km Run

We thank you very much for participating in the New Balance Pacesetters 30km Run on 17 January 2010.

We have received positive feedback as well as constructive criticisms from participants and acknowledge that there were technical and logistical issues that affected a number of runners. As organizers, we apologize to runners who have had a bad experience.

All your feedback will go towards improving the standard and experience for future races organized by Pacesetters Athletic Club Malaysia.

We look forward to seeing you at the Energizer Night Race on 27 March 2010.
